Rue La La Branded Site Takeover

Background:

I was tasked with creating an experience that could fit into the existing site but be flexible, editorial, and more special than the typical sale experience.

My Role:

I was the lead UX/UI designer on this and worked with development and the production designer to ensure that the experience could quickly and easily be designed, developed, and deployed for future boutiques. I also trained and created templates for the designers to be able to continue to create more site take over experiences in the future.

The Outcome:

I created an template that was a "mix and match" site page. The designer could pick from a menu of layouts and mix and match those. I also worked with developers and senior leaders to make sure that the product would answer the needs to brand acquisition team, production designs, still be scaleable. Countless custom experiences were created from this template that allowed Rue Lala to sell through residential merchandise at a faster rate and win big brands such as Alice and Olivia, Rag and Bone, Kate Spade, and many editorial and curated boutiques,
