Project Background

This project centered on optimizing both the creation tool for admin users and the end-user tool for document control and process tracking through ETQ Reliance, transcending it from a quality system to a versatile platform. This endeavor aimed to streamline workflows, enhance user experience, and empower teams across departments.

The Process and My Role

As the UX manager, I spearheaded a cross-functional team, blending research, design, and development expertise. We embarked on a user-centric journey, conducting interviews, and surveys, and collaborating closely with clients to iteratively shape the product. Leveraging ETQ Reliance's backend capabilities, we redesigned the UI, prioritizing accessibility and user fatigue reduction, especially in form interfaces crucial for application quality managers.

Key Achievements:

  • Supply Chain Incident Control: Our implementation with ETQ Reliance fortified supply chain incident control, ensuring swift risk mitigation and operational continuity.

  • Customer Insights Empowerment: By leveraging ETQ Reliance's capabilities, we empowered our customer service team with actionable insights, elevating service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Root Cause Analysis Acceleration: Through deep-rooted analysis facilitated by ETQ Reliance, we accelerated the identification and resolution of critical issues, bolstering operational efficiency and product quality.

Our project's pinnacle was the ability to rapidly deploy modules and empower power users to craft bespoke solutions without extensive custom development, revolutionizing how teams interacted with the system and fostering a culture of continual improvement and innovation.
